The potencial of ecotourism in Spain

Spain is a country where the tourism to focus on sun and beach, but there are other options, even though there are not as popular, they are also interesting to do.
One of this unusual tourism form is the ecoturism. If there is a word that defines the ecoturism, this is sustainability. The ecoturism consists of making an economic development for the locals but without breaking the natural environment.
Spain is a country that has a great natural and cultural heritage. This reason makes that this country a potential place where you can practice this kind of tourism. Costa Rica is the best example to follow because it is a country that has exploited the ecoturism admirably. Spain has begun to welcome visitors and in the last years it has developed guided tours, visitor centers, trails, specialized accommodation…
Some great ideas to enjoy with Spanish ecoturism are La Rioja with its spectacular wine offered in the vineyards and the gastronomy of Galicia or Doñana with its bird watching.

HOW TOURISM SHOULD DEVELOP IN HARU?

First of all the tourism in Haru should establish its bases in the increscent of social, economic and environmental benefits. Other important stuff to get is that touristic activities generate relations with other activities, in this case, in Haru they might explode the works of art that are made by its inhabitants.
The touristic development in Haru should be balanced. They need to improve its infrastructure but they cannot lose their essence, Haru should be a modern town with a traditional way of life.
There is no doubt that touristic development would make of Haru and its region more important. People of nearby villages will establish their residence in Haru because the works are going to increase, so that Haru would achieve a bigger urban area. More jobs would make that in Haru, the residential people had more money.

But the natural potential is the jewel of the region. This would make that the rainforest, lake or river need a conditioning with indicative posters, rubbish bins, and so on, to allow tourists keeping the area in the same conditions as now.

How the tourism industry has changed since the 1970s?

There are not doubts that the tourism activity is very different now from the 70s.
In the 1970s the tourism was a mass tourism but after the 80s tourists were looking for living new experiences in their travels. That was the moment when the types of holidays changed. Then, people preferred a conventional holiday in the beach but nowadays people are able to choose between different types of holidays. If we talk about tourism in Spain during the 70s, you needed more than 12 hours reach the sea from different places of the country, now in 12 hours you are in the Antipodes. The new transport technologies have made countries nearer than ever. Another stuff that has changed is the tourist profiles, now everyone can travel, the prices of flights are lower, the price of the hostels too and the last but not the least you are able to reserve a trip in few minutes thanks to internet.
